Cookie Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 ย ยทย  Last Updated: January 1, 2026

The short version: We use cookies to keep BecomeAnInfluencer working properly, understand how people use our site, and improve your experience. We never sell cookie data to third parties. You can manage or disable non-essential cookies at any time using your browser settings or the opt-out tools listed in Section 6.

Section 01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device โ€” computer, phone, or tablet โ€” when you visit. They are stored by your browser and sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognizes them.

Cookies were originally designed to help websites remember useful information about you โ€” such as whether you're logged in, what's in your cart, or your language preference โ€” so you don't have to enter it every time. Over time, cookies have also become a standard tool for measuring site performance and, in some cases, delivering targeted advertising.

Alongside traditional cookies, we may also use similar technologies such as pixel tags (tiny invisible images embedded in pages or emails that signal when they've been loaded), web beacons, and local storage. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of these collectively as "cookies."

Cookies are governed by the website that sets them. A cookie set by BecomeAnInfluencer can only be read by BecomeAnInfluencer. A cookie set by a third-party service we use (such as an analytics provider) is subject to that third party's own policies.

Section 02

Why We Use Cookies

BecomeAnInfluencer uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • To make the site work. Some cookies are technically necessary. Without them, core features โ€” like staying logged in to your student dashboard, remembering your course progress, or keeping items in your cart โ€” would not function.
  • To understand how people use the site. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are most visited, where users drop off, how long they spend on each section, and which traffic sources bring the most engaged visitors. This data helps us improve the experience for everyone.
  • To remember your preferences.Functional cookies allow us to remember choices you've made โ€” such as your preferred video playback speed or whether you've dismissed a particular notice โ€” so you don't have to set them again.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing. When we run paid advertising campaigns, marketing cookies help us understand whether those campaigns are bringing in new visitors who actually enroll. This allows us to invest our marketing budget more responsibly.
Section 03

Types of Cookies We Use

We categorize our cookies into four types based on their purpose. The first type is strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without breaking the site. The remaining three can be managed through your browser settings.

๐Ÿ”’Strictly NecessaryRequired

Essential for the site to function. These handle login sessions, security tokens, shopping cart state, course progress tracking, and checkout flow. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. No personal data is collected beyond what is technically required to deliver the service.

๐Ÿ“ŠAnalytics & PerformanceOptional

Help us understand how visitors interact with our site โ€” which pages they visit, how long they stay, where they came from, and where they exit. All data is aggregated and anonymized. We use this exclusively to improve the site experience. Disabling these will not affect your access to any content or features.

โš™๏ธFunctionalOptional

Remember your preferences and settings to provide a more personalized experience. This includes things like your video playback speed, notification dismissal states, and previously entered form data. Disabling these means you may need to re-enter preferences on each visit.

๐ŸŽฏMarketing & TargetingOptional

Used to measure the performance of our paid advertising campaigns and, where applicable, to show relevant ads on other platforms to people who have visited our site. These cookies identify your browser across sites. You can opt out using the tools listed in Section 6 without losing access to any BecomeAnInfluencer features.

Section 04

Section 06

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for controlling how cookies are used when you visit BecomeAnInfluencer. You can change your preferences at any time โ€” disabling optional cookies will not prevent you from accessing any BecomeAnInfluencer content or features.

Browser Settings

Every major browser allows you to view, block, or delete cookies. Find the instructions for your browser below:

Industry Opt-Out Tools

For interest-based advertising specifically, you can opt out of participating advertising networks through these industry-wide tools:

What Happens When You Disable Cookies

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in, completing checkout, or tracking your course progress. We recommend leaving these enabled.

Disabling analytics, functional, or marketing cookieswill have no impact on your ability to access BecomeAnInfluencer content or purchase any product. The site will function normally โ€” we simply won't be able to remember your preferences or measure the impact of our advertising.

Section 07

Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. Because there is currently no universally agreed-upon standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, BecomeAnInfluencer does not alter its data collection practices in response to DNT browser settings.

If you wish to limit tracking, please use the cookie management options described in Section 6 above, which give you direct control over which categories of cookies are active on our site.

Section 08

Cookie Retention

Cookies fall into two categories based on how long they persist:

  • Session cookies are temporary and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. They are used for things like maintaining your checkout session.
  • Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period โ€” ranging from 30 days to 2 years depending on their purpose โ€” unless you delete them manually through your browser settings before they expire.

The specific duration for each first-party cookie we set is listed in the table in Section 4. Third-party cookies are subject to the retention policies of the respective providers.

You can delete all cookies stored on your device at any time through your browser settings. Note that deleting cookies will log you out of your BecomeAnInfluencer account and reset any saved preferences.

Section 09

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of cookies changes, as new technologies emerge, or as legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Display a notice on our site for at least 30 days following the change
  • Where required, re-ask for your consent for any new categories of cookies

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of BecomeAnInfluencer after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Section 10
